Summary of the Main New Features in Version 2.3

For Mainframe z/OS usage, WPS now has performance improvements for most types of work load. This release also provides support for z/OS 1.9.

For non-English speaking users, the Windows and z/OS platforms now support PROC TRANTAB and associate code page and collation order conversion features. Also, the WPS Workbench allows the display and entry of data in non-english code pages when the locale is set appropriately (presently only single byte character support).

WPS now provides graphical output support for a subset of language elements that users may be familiar with from SAS/GRAPH®*.

Numerous bug fixes, and new language support have been added.

Existing WPS users on Mainframe z/OS should note that there may be migration steps required as outlined in the WPS readme file (see table near the top of this page).
