Library Engines
Accessing different data sources is achieved by using an appropriate library engine. WPS includes language support for many libray engines that users may be familiar with from the SAS/ACCESS®* product.

File Types
As well as being able to access the file types appropriate to the library engines listed above, WPS can also read and write to file types including Microsoft Excel files (via DDE), comma, tab & space separated data files and it can write and send emails.
